The Michael Sandy Foundation produces short animations for young children and adolescents that ask specific questions about diversity, tolerance and respect, “breaking the ice” on socially relevant issues.
Our initial animations focus on the advantages of LGBT acceptance (ages 6-8) and how difference is good (ages 4-5).  In our next round of production we will focus on religious diversity, bullying, and conflict resolution.
Along with being a delight to watch, the short animations start discussions with youth, benefiting both parents and educators.  These conversations will gauge children’s current attitude about a topic and give parents and educators a chance to guide them toward a place of inclusion and mutual respect.
Videos will be translated in to several languages, cataloged by age and grade level, and will be made freely available on the web and through mobile apps.

We create new media that start conversations about diversity and respect.
